Our story is one of passion, tradition, and a deep-rooted love for sharing the rich tapestry of African cuisine with the world.

Founded by siblings Ama and Kwame, Hajia1 was born out of a shared dream to introduce the authentic tastes of their Ghanaian heritage to the UK. Drawing inspiration from their grandmother’s cherished recipes and childhood memories of bustling markets and family feasts, they set out to create a culinary oasis where guests could experience the warmth and hospitality of West Africa.
